Works great. Love it.

This tool has made previously tricky tire exchanges for indoor training seamless. Currently using it for a trek Domane, the narrow carbon frame and lack of chain slack was a challenge each time.
It takes 2-3min to understand how to use.
I found going to the very first gear (not 3rd) for max chain slack best. Not affiliated in any way, if you have a narrow frame/carbon road bike and hate removing the rear wheel it's a game changer, works as intended.

Well engineered and operates as intended to make rear wheel on & off simple

Well engineered and operates as intended to make rear wheel on & off simple, clean and efficient while also keeping the bike frame clean from chain grease. ChainLift V2 also makes it easier to place and remove bike on direct drive trainer.

Shazam(!) LET it work using the 3 steps.

I took in the instructions and did what I thought was the suggested way, but it took dropping back and beginning all new by simply using the exact “3quick steps” and shazam! The steps shown on the site were a bit better than on the box for me to get the hint. I had it 80% there but not 100% and stress free until letting those 3steps dictate. Heed the diagram’s lift arm rotations. Get it on with the CORRECT pin and hand rotate your derailleur as it says. It will simplify at that point.
If you want it to work, LET it work. Even in my initial attempts I did not touch the chain once. Now that I know the easy and QUICK way I will not ever want to even loosen my cinch cam without this guy. Will be perfect for transport without wheels in the trunk of my Camry. Completely clears my cassette and things should drop in and out quickly without any chain interference or attention needed to align things.

If you struggle to take the rear wheel off & on like I do then this is the perfect tool to use. It's so much easier with Chainlift.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you guarantee Chainlift will work with my bike(s)?

No. But we have designed and tested Chainlift to work on the majority of derailleurs made in the last 20-30 years. There are simply too many derailleur types made over the last 100 years to make that guarantee.

Please watch our instructional video and visit the chart here. Or if you don’t find your model on the list or don’t know your model, we will personally help you choose the right one. Just take a picture of your derailleur with your phone and email it to info@chainlift.com. We will reply quickly. Or if you prefer live video help, just connect with us via Facetime, Facebook Messenger, Google Duo, WhatsApp or Skype.

What chains will Chainlift work with?

We designed Chainlift to work with all 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, & 7 speed chains.

Will Chainlift work on my 1x drivetrain?

Chainlift will work on most 1x drivetrains. However, there may be some on-road 1x drivetrains with short cage derailleurs and small cassettes that will not have enough chain length for Chainlift to work. If you think you fit that description, just email a photo of your drive train tocustomerservice@radian-usa.comand we’ll let you know quickly before you order.

Can I use Chainlift on my single speed?

No, Chainlift only works on bikes with rear derailleurs.

How do I pick the right interchangeable insert pin?

Please watch our instructional videohereand visit the charthere. Or if you don’t find your model on the list or don’t know your model, DO NOT WORRY. We will personally help you choose the right one. Just take a picture of your derailleur with your phone and email it to customerservice@radian-usa.com. We will reply quickly.
