CHAINLIFT - Campagnolo

To be honest, when I first read about chain lift I laughed about it. Why would someone need such a tool? We have been changing wheels for years without such a tool without problem. However now that I had to change wheels more often as of my indoor trainer that I use when the weather is bad outside … i missed an extra hand helping me to set this up. Chain Lift to the rescue - it actually is the extra hand I need in order to put the bike on and off the stationary trainer way more easily. Now I started using chairlift on all other works too. I also like to lift the chain and then tune the breaks. Long story short. An awesome must have for everyone that likes to maintain the bike him- or herself.

One of those items you believe not to need but after using it you wonder how you could ever live without it. Very solid, well thought through and of high quality. Every time a true pleasure to use!

I've used this in my road bike and TT bike. Not to make removing wheels easier, but to lift the chain out the way do I could silently spin the wheel to check for disc rub on the calipers. Works well, and for me, is worth it's for that.

Chainlift is the most complete and best designed solution for multiple tasks requiring the removal of the back wheel or disengagement of the chain from the rear sprocket. From the package of to the initial handling of the chainlift lift to the first operation you can see and feel how much thought and care has gone into its design and manufacture.

It is expensive, there is no getting away from that fact. But, you are getting something infinitely better, that is a joy to use and will last.

This is one of the things that when you see it advertised, you think surely it can’t be that simple. Then you look at the price, and think can I justify paying that much, for a bike tool.
However, when you receive it and then use it, you wonder how you’ve ever managed without it.
With the exception of the tyre pliers, that are used to help put tyres on so much easier, I’d be so bold as to say these are the best 2 and must have tools for the modern day cyclist.

Loving the Chainlift that just arrived, no more faffing when removing the rear wheel, and no more dirty hands. Great bit of kit, well made and does the job. Couldn't work out which pin to use, messaged them on FB and sent a pic of my rear derailleur, they came straight back with specific instructions, use SHM-1 pin, exactly how to set the chain up before removing etc. worked first time. New fav bike accessory. Will get a lot of use here as, due to weather and cow muck, the bike needs a full clean after every ride for sure. Wheels off, chain clean and lube etc.

I received my chainlift a few weeks ago - and right now it's one of the tools I'll never want to miss again. It is - once you know the right pin - very easy and intuitive to use. Perfect for cleaning and working on your bike and very usefull for transportation. And one more positive point to mention: It's working on all of my bikes (all with different derailleurs).
The people at chainlift are very communicative and helpful. I never waited for a reply longer than 1 day.
My honest recommendation for both tool and team.

I’ve been a keen cyclist for 6 years and I have to say with complete honesty this is one of the best products I have used in a very long time.
Most companies advertise there products as being the best thing ever but actually they fail to meet the hype. But Chainlift actually meets the hype head on and then some. It’s excellent design allows you to move chain efficiently without being covered in wax or oil keeping you clean and preventing your bike being damaged by the chain.

This is such a great idea, something I've been waiting for, for a long time, it makes servicing bikes a breeze, and I love the fact that the chain does not hang on the frame scratching it. I highly recommend it for all bicycle mechanics out there

Seriously - this is the best bike tool I have. It looks really weird and is tricky to work out first time BUT ... It’s a total revolution and makes it ridiculously easy to work on the drive chain. Firstly - great customer service. An error on my part (typo in the email address) was quickly sorted and the unit dispatched and arrived promptly. The first you notice when you open the box is the quality. The until is make to last. I used the chart to identify the correct pin and after a quick watch of the video I was up and running with the chain neatly lifted from my cassette.

I had been struggling to rectify disc rub since I replaced my wheels. With the chain now lifted I could spin the wheel silently. This enabled me to realign the caliper and spin the wheel and ensure there was no rub at all. Invaluable!
